Our Instructors

I began riding at the age of 6 in Napa, California. Thanks to it's beautiful rural setting, many people owned horses and every day I would tote my small saddle door to door to ask, people if I could ride their horses. I rode everything from ranch horses to arabs, but by age 8 decided I needed more challenge, and after being inspired by Olympic competition, convinced reluctant parents to drive me daily to a 3-day event barn for lessons and camps.

After two years, with the purchase of my first horse, I moved into the hunter/jumper world and immediately began showing at the lower level shows. I set my sites for bigger and better and with my second horse began competing in the hunter ring attall the 'A' and 'B' rated shows in Northern California including Golden State, Junior Grand at the Cow Palace and Pebble Beach.

While I enjoyed success at each show, I learned the camaraderie and mutual love for everything equine was just as enjoyable as the competition. I look forward to introducing everyone to this incredible sport.
